Ikseon-dong alleys, my favourite slow walk in Seoul

Last week I spent a whole afternoon in Ikseon-dong and it quickly became my favourite corner of Seoul. It is a small maze of old hanok houses turned into cafes and tiny shops, and somehow it stays much calmer than Bukchon even though it sits right in the centre. From Euljiro 3-ga station it is only a couple of minutes on foot, and I liked it most on a weekday morning before the alleys fill up. My advice is to not follow the map too seriously, just take whichever turn looks interesting, the alleys are small so you cannot really get lost. Happy to tell you which side I walked if anyone is curious.
