Halal food in Gyeongju and Jeonju, not just Seoul?

Assalamualaikum everyone. Me and my family are visiting Korea this October for around 9 days, and this time we really want to go beyond Seoul - thinking of Gyeongju and maybe Jeonju for the more traditional side. My only worry is food, because in Seoul it feels easy with Itaewon nearby, but I'm not sure how it is in the smaller cities. For those who went, were you able to find halal or muslim-friendly restaurants there, or did you mostly bring snacks and self-cook? Also is it smarter to eat a big meal before leaving Seoul and just rely on seafood or vegetarian in between? Would really appreciate any honest tips, thank you so much.
